Review of Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) by Larissa R — 30 Dec 2008
For me, it was a reminder of simplier times, where finding love was a gift, and where "dating" didn't exist. Giovanna was mesmerizing, and Javier's character's heart came through the screen clearly.
.when we weeped and pined for his love. The makeup, set, and costumes were superb. I haven't read the book yet so of course I was not disappointed like the other reviewers who have read the book prior to seeing the film adaptation.
This is on my list of books to read in 2009.
