I liked it...haven't read the book yet, but I always prefer to see the movie first so that the book doesn't "ruin" it for me.
Like I've said before, if you see a movie merely for entertainment purposes then you can enjoy more movies than the critics recommend, but then again I don't usually like mainstream "critically acclaimed" movies either way.
Regardless, this movie is worth watching.
