Review of Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) by Roy G — 18 Nov 2009
The movie certainly preserves GarcÃa Márquez' signature, but is not as sublime as his novels. There is nothing special in the performances, direction or camera-work, but the overall effect is still appreciable.
The only annoying aspect was that it was not in Spanish - I'd rather read subtitles than hear awful fake-accents.
