Review of Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) by B B — 01 Mar 2009
I haven't read the book so I can't compare but this has slices of a great tale but there are inconsistencies, a lack of passion at times and generally it's not as engaging as it wanted to be.
It's emotional at times, there is reality in there, a real look at love and what it means, the costs and the joys. It just could have been a lot better, but the skeleton beneath is a timeless one.
Recommended only to those interested in thinking, talking and experiencing 'love'. :).
