Sometimes a movie can be more than one thing- in this case a romantic comedy and a tearjerker disease of the week film. It does both remarkably well with great actors, who actually have "chemistry" throughout the film (or in both parts of the film) and very snappy dialogue that is much better than one usually gets in this type of movie.

I highly recommend it. Can't always trust the reviewers, can you.
