Anne Hathaway gives a decent performance that doesn't descend too much into the female victim pool while Jake Gyllenhaal gives the sexy cad role a hard workout.These two have definite chemistry but for the most part this movie was trying to take itself to seriously while trying be a hot, steamy romance that had a hard Parkinson's angle.
