Review of Love & Other Drugs (2010) by Andy S — 07 Nov 2011
It didn't turn out all that bad. Josh Gad provided a lot of laughs and Gyllenhaal and Hathaway provided, well, a lot of other details. A chick-flick to say the least. I think maybe giving Anne Hathaway Parkinson's disease softened it up a little more and gave the writers more of a longer runway to work with in the story.
It wasn't magnificent, but it was an interesting, mainstream film that you shouldn't be too worried about when your girlfriend rents it on movie date night.
