Review of Love & Mercy (2015) by Kevin V — 06 Jun 2015

This movie tells the story of Brian Wilson, the genius song writer and frontman of the Beach Boys through trouble times of depression and losing himself completely. It's not until a woman who he meets by chance saves him from his living hell.

I'm a big beach boys fan and this was a must for me. The music is great and the pacing isn't as well thought out as I would of like. The time shift between the past and present Brian at times can be distracting and I wish they did more of the bond between Brian, Carl and Dennis.

Overall it's a good movie and you can see the affliction that he had to deal with.
