Incredible. I've been a Beach Boys fanatical almost my entire life and loved this film. It's acted, scripted and shot sensitively, and movingly conveys the genius and heartbreak of Brian Wilson's life.
The studio scenes and tension with Mike Love are tremendous. This film is so good, the 2 hour running time felt like 15 mins. Cusak, Dano and the other Beach Boys are all very convincing and it almost felt like a fly on the wall doco at times.
An easy 5 stars.
