For anyone who grew up with the sounds of The Beachboys, this film is important. The story of Brian Wilson's breakdown and the production of Pet Sounds, his seminal work, resonates. The juxtaposition of young Wilson (Gano) and older Wilson (Cusack) keeps the film moving.
I defy you not to sing along.
