12/30/15 Consideration.
This is an interesting movie well acted by both John Cusack and Paul Dano. It can be a little disconcerting going back and forth throughout the film as a young and then mature Brian Wilson. I would have preferred one full half on the young Wilson and one full half on the older one. Also, the real life relationship with Dr. Landry was much more complex involved much more of the business side of the music but time did not allow the full development and explanation of that. It does capture a genius at work and the troubled mind that accompanied that genius. Finally, loving The Beach Boys music doesn't hurt.
