An unorthodox biopic, but it works given Wilson's unusual and troubled life. While I was initially impatient during the quieter scenes featuring older Brian, the way that the two time periods come together is quite effective.
Seeing the production and recording of several Beach Boys songs made me appreciate them and Wilson's musical genius so much more.
