Review of Love and Death (2013) by Gareth J — 15 Aug 2007
Woody exposes the dream and value of owning your own land, and perhaps one day being able to build on it - a deep yearning that so many of us possess. The comic aspect is a thin veneer of what is a deep subplot regarding relationships (including marrying cousins), herring appreciation, dance, and the insatiable desire to kill people.
Orwell would have been proud.
