Review of Miss You Like Crazy (2010) by Ian P — 27 Aug 2015
As what the title suggests, Miss You Like Crazy is a romance film about missing someone you love after being separated for a long time but it's also a story about missing time to be with rightful person to love and spend the rest of your life with.
Miss You Like Crazy taught us that missing to be with the rightful person to love results wasted and regrettable time that should have been spend worthy. But the film also taught us that having space and enough time will make us grow and realize what we really want in life especially the person we really want to be with.
John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo delivered again good onscreen romance chemistry and topped it with good acting chops. This film is partially a travel movie since by the mid part of the movie as it was shot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The film has a great recall due to adapting the very popular and famous song "Miss You Like Crazy" originally sung by Nathalie Cole but covered by Erik Santos for this film as its theme song.
I think it was a smart choice of song and title for the producers and writers since the song is a very familiar love song and the title is suitable for the movie since its story's theme is much related to the title.
Miss You Like Crazy is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina of One More Chance (2007) and You Changed My Life (2009).
