Review of Love and Death (2013) by Rob L — 22 Feb 2009
Woody Allens lost gem. Most people have heard of Annie Hall, Bananas, The Sleeper, Hannah & her sisters etc, but not many people appear to have heard of 'Love & Death'. It is side-splittingly funny.
Ignore the whole Russian history stuff, it is just a tale of lovable loser (yes Woody is good at playing those type of characters) who gets the pretty girl & then gets killed. It's as simple as that, but hilarious.
If you only every see one Woody Allen comedy film (yes I know the serious ones are good to), see this one. If you only see ten comedy films in your life, still make sure you see this one. You won't regret it.
