Love and Bananas is a beautiful story with a big heart! It tells the plight of the majestic Asian elephant and exposes the cruel and inhumane treatment these creatures endure. It reveals the environment in which these intelligent creatures exist which threatens their extinction.

Yes, it is heartbreaking to watch, but heartwarming in the impassioned way the story is told ... without blame, without demonizing those involved in the elephants' captivity, but focusing rather on changing the hearts and minds of those involved with education and awareness, and with a touching walk through the jungles of Thailand!

The cinematography truly captures the beauty of Southeast Asia, with an optimistic look at how elephants and people could live together.

I was so moved by the film's positive message that love can heal, that love can bring about meaningful change.

The film ends on a hopeful note, that we can all make a difference, we can all play our part in saving this endangered species.
