Okie dokie...this is really not 'Jab We Met'..infact nowhere close to it..the chemistry, the crackling dialouges and the chatpataz of Imtiaz's previous film is clearly not there.
So why does this film work?
The only reason is Imtiaz Ali. A fresh direction and an AWESOME screenplay (deserves a lot of awards) (specially before the opening credits) does wonders...but that is it.
A brillaint first half slackens slowly and steadily to an age told typical Bollywood formula ending...and that is the reason why this film dissapoints towards the end..cz after such a fantastic beginning the second half appears a bit too meak in comparision.
But not to worry, Love Aaj Kal is definitely worth a try. Great music, fabulous locales and a brilliant performance by Saif will keep you glued.
As for Deepika, girl you totally dissapointed..where was the energy?????
Anyway, go for this stylish voyage...itz quite a lot of fun.
