Review of loudQUIETloud: A Film About the Pixies (2006) by Nfrancisd — 04 Oct 2009

I love the band to death but was a little disappointed with the beige treatment. If the film is an attempt to show how four quite average, normal people made a new kind of rock music then it is an outrageous success.

But one gets the sense there was a lot of more interesting material left out, or that the producers did not have the full confidence of the band. As a result, they switched themselves on only when onstage.
