It saddens me that the industry does not support this kind of material. Gosling indicates a vision, a sense of atmosphere & emotion, an urban fairy tale here that is way more interesting to me than any tent pole franchise picture.
I have a lot more to say about the film, but need to process s but more before writing it up.
