Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Willem C — 24 Jul 2014
Lost in Translation is a fresh take on the whole "two souls finding their way in the world" sub-genre. Set against a background of culture shock, LIT brings together two unlikely friends, both in different existential challenges in their lives. As a sharp critic of (Sofia) Coppola's work, I have to say that this is by far her best work, and still remains her magnum opus 11 years later.
A must see.
