Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Olivier C — 06 Aug 2018
At some point in life this movie can be about improbable love, at some other point it can be about THAT feeling of being completely lost, and the importance of sharing that feeling with somebody else. Or whatever it can be about.
This is what's so amazing about this film. The characters are very discrete, and one never really knows what they are feeling, thinking, or what their intentions really are, and this film lets the viewer fill in that blank with their personal feelings, thoughts, and intentions.
Depending on where they are standing in life.
