Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Molly V — 01 Nov 2013
Atmosphere and pensive, Lost in Translation is able to convey emotions and a state of mind that is impossible for us to describe, but easy to relate to. Coppola's direction is beautiful and Murray and Johansson have good chemistry.
If I have one complaint, it's that the story is a little bit thin, but I don't think the movie would have worked the way it does it there was more. Very subtly emotional and thought provoking.
