Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Jenny T — 11 Jun 2015
No other movie touches my heart as deeply and emotionally than Lost in Translation. the emptiness and loneliness we feel as human beings sometimes allow us to find sanctuary in complete strangers. yet the connection could be more intimate than the bond we have with our close ones.
the location and setting of the movie cannot be more appropriate to accentuate the characters' state of mind, while both Murray and Johansson delivered exceptional chemistry and performance with much subtlety.
I've watched this more than ten times and it still remains one of my favourites of all time.
