Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Monkey P — 22 Aug 2013
Realistically written with delicate emotion, humor and featuring nuanced and natural performances from Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, elevated even more so be their sweet, relaxed chemistry. Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation is a slow-paced, stylish and deeply moving piece of cinema that gravitates towards true real-life experiences of loneliness, sadness, attraction and the subtle human connections.
5/5 stars.
