Review of Lost in La Mancha (2002) by Matt H — 02 May 2012
Fascinating look at how movies are made (or not made). Terry Gilliam is almost more fascinating as "being" a director than his actual "directing." Man certainly has the worst luck. And either his productions are all disorganized and chaotic (as shown before the actual shooting problems started), and/or most Hollywood productions are all disorganized and chaotic disasters waiting to happen.
Fascinating how a probable by-the-numbers "Making Of" documentary had the movie completed turned into a stark look at the reality of a movie production crashing and burning in real time.
