Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Thorbjørn V — 09 Jan 2013
It might have been good in 1997. I just whatched it and for a movie geek like me its extremely predictable and slow paced. the main reason why I dont like this movie is because the characters in the movie cannot communicate with eachother, its like everyone is socially incompetent which makes the dialog extremely dry.
Instead of asking a question when faced with a puzzle the main character flexes his eyebrows and lets the hair on his cheek grow. I cannot relate to the character and I dont see why anyone else would.
I like movies with unpredictable dialog and twists but if you build up a character with no real interaction with his sorroundings its just a dull slideshow of pictures.
