Review of Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010) by Dann M — 21 Oct 2012
This third installment of the series, Lost Boys: The Thirst, is a solid and thrilling adventure. The story follows vampire hunter Edgar Frog who's hired to save the brother of a famous novelist from a potential alpha vampire.
Corey Feldman leads the cast and delivers another satirical and campy performance. This film, unlike the last one, makes a concerted effort to tie into the original Lost Boys and extends the mythology of the series.
Additionally, the special effects are quite good and create some new and interesting vampire kills. Though the low-budget nature of the film shows through at times, Lost Boys: The Thirst is ambitious and full of action.
