Why oh why, Virginia. Improbable, impossible reactions. No way a parent would not have diligently seemed psychiatric help for, tried to find out what her long lost, suddenly reappeared son went throught, nor not be utterly devastated by the outcome of this kind of saga.
The actors did whatever they could with the crappy storyline and script they were tasked with. Maybe Matt Fahey was the one in more need of realistic direction. I don't know. For some reason I feel bad for disliking this TV film so much.
