Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Lindsay B — 20 Feb 2008
Caught this on TV recently, remember it disturbed me as a child. It's very emotionally intense and harrowing, the acting is brilliant, and it's a film that will live with you for a hell of a long time.
Attacks medical science for being too methodical and disinterested in the people it 'serves' which, whether true or not, really works to build strength in the depiction of the parents.
