Well-directed drama about a sick child. Hated Nick Nolte; LOVED Susan Sarandon! She's very Sally Field in this movie, which is a good thing!
Lorenzo Odone, the boy of the parent's who inspired this 1992 movie, died on May 30, 2008, after suffering from aspiration pneumonia, caused by food getting stuck in his lungs.
