Review of Lords of Dogtown (2005) by Vlad L — 26 Jun 2008
I saw the documentary a few years ago (Z Boys - also excellent) and I was worried this would repackage the story as a dumb, glossy teen movie; but it was cool. The actors were great and they did a good job of figuring out a plot that enriches the bare facts themselves, which are already in the doc, while maintaining its basic integrity and atmosphere.
