Review of Lord of War (2005) by El P — 29 Aug 2010
I've never been a Nick Cage fan. It's probably why I saw this movie 5 years late. But in this film, his embodiment of this character is nearly perfect. It really feels like no one else could have filled this role better.
It also seemed like a slight departure from the typical Cage you see in a lot of roles. The tension built in this movie is truly gripping. The narration and the ending of this film is phenomenal. Very unique ending.
