Review of Lord of War (2005) by Mrwilliams V — 18 Jun 2011
Great and creative opening sequence. Even though the main character is involved in with some truly vile people, Nick Cage was still likeable and the movie was very enjoyable. Really shows you bits and pieces of how harsh and dark the world, politics, war, and governments can be, and that nothing is what it seems when viewed from the eyes of comfortable and privileged Americans like ourselves.
And those who do know what's going on are either a part of the problem, or are powerless to do anything. Definitely makes you think about world conflicts a little differently.
