Enjoyed this hugely. It has blackly comic elements thanks to Cage's very idiosyncratic style, but that's probably the only way to handle a film based on facts so gim, shameful, and appalling telling I straight would make for morbidly depressing viewing.
The film doesn't pull its punches, though, and the final twist and reveal of the real bad guys is dramatically satisfying. This film deals with truths most people would rather ignore, so it's not comfortable viewing and won't be to everyone's taste - indeed I'd expect it to anger many.
Well done for making it - more like this please.
