Review of Lord of the Flies (1991) by Collette D — 15 Jan 2008
Flawless...everything great about the book. I thought the film was even better. If you think that the story has only one main point or that it's about man's inherent savagery, you need to read more from Golding and about his life.
In fact, I would say it's a criticism of the ills of our society rather than of Man's basic nature.
