Review of Lord of the Flies (1963) by Sally A — 15 May 2012
Very faithful to the book - I found the book incredibly chilling, the film isn't quite as frightening but it is very well done and the young, mostly inexperienced cast (who apparently were allowed to run quite free with their acting, largely improvising) are very good.
A very impressive, eerie film worthy of all the praise it receives.
