Review of Lord of Illusions (1995) by Shaz M — 20 Oct 2010
Creative and mildly scarry fare. Uses just about every special effects trick in the book to make up for a fairly lame story. All about illusion.
A cultist's dream delight, this one delves into the dark and mysterious plight of a soul who proclaims himself The Puritan. Horror genre reviewers would be better equipped to critique this story.
Fearing to give too much away, let's just say I found this rather reminicient of 50's horror flicks with modern day special effects. But don't let this review stop you, you may love it.
