Review of Looper (2012) by Hung-Ya L — 19 Sep 2013
Looper is a dark and at first confusing sci-fi thriller. It reminds me of Bruce Willis's Twelve Monkeys because in the end, it is about the self-fulfilling prophecy that we always know of. I enjoy the concept of the story, which in my humble opinion, includes much emotion, action and occasionally time travel theories although some may be questionable! I cannot help frowning right from the beginning until the very end, not just because there are suspenses successfully built, but it has also great performances from the cast.
That kid frightens me.
