Review of Looper (2012) by Brandon B — 12 Mar 2014
Fresh, smart, and exciting. While most time-travel films boggle down audiences with "theory" and paradoxical convolutions, approach, Looper keeps it relatively simple. It's paradoxical, very similar to Back to the Future II.
While it's plays off of the cliques and tropes of the genre, Looper remains entertaining due to its clever script, unique direction, and solid performances all around. I.
