Review of Looper (2012) by T-Pain P — 03 Mar 2014
I am going to give Looper (2012) 4 stars. The storyline was good, it had a good flow to it and Director Rian Johnson did what he could do to make it the best. The violence was there, and Bruce Willis delivered thus violence perfectly and cleanly, just like he always does.
Willis is a phenomenal actor when it comes down to things like Action & Adventure and Mystery & Suspense movies. On the other hand, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was an "okay" addition to Looper (2012), I am not saying that he is the worst actor, but there could have been a better actor like Matt Damon to accompany Bruce Willis on this phenomenal journey.
The running time for Looper (2012) is approximately 2 hours at the most, a good running time for most movies like these. Emily Blunt was that "it girl" and the concept of a "looper", a.
K.a., the title of the movie, made some sense in the beginning, but more in the end. Director Rian Johnson overall debuted a good movie with a classical twist to it and gave us an ending that would leave us, the audience, hanging off the edge of their seat.
