Review of Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) by Terry W — 11 Jul 2011
Where Space Jam was a kiddie flick that tossed a few bones to the adults, this is a very clever, very funny adventure with a bit of cartoon slapstick for the kids. My son wanted to watch it, and I ended up laughing more than he did -- most of it was way over his head.
In fact, I have a feeling that some of it may have been over *my* head. There were several homages to films way older than I am, as well as a ton of blink-and-you'll-miss-it gags. It has its weak moments, but the good stuff far outweighs them.
