Review of Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) by Jeffrey L — 22 Feb 2008
Funny movie that, like with Space Jam, combines the famous Looney Tunes characters with real actors, this time in the real world instead of an animated one. This movie was made for adults just as much as it is for kids, which is obviously by all the little in-jokes and nods and cameo appearances that only older people would get.
However there are some down sides to this flick. The main one being the main bad guy. Just annoying as all hell. The other being a few of the more dull jokes running on for WAY too long while a lot of the good ones are just briefly passed over.
I did however, really enjoy the Area 52 scene, with all these aliens from old 1950's horror and sci-fi movies. If you're a fan of the Looney Tunes, and you enjoy movies like Space Jam that combines live-action with animation, then give this one a shot.
