Works well in small segments (such as the Cantona bedroom talks or the guys at the pub) but has far too much going on and ends up just being messy. Certainly not one of Loach's best but an interesting effort nonetheless, it's just a shame the wonderful Steve Evets and Eric Cantona aren't given a better film to showcase themselves.
