Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Mike C — 05 Mar 2012

A fairly entertaining albeit meaningless movie about a guy who uses an imaginary soccer hero to work through some mental health issues. The postal worker is having a rough go of things, but things begin to pick up when he starts having chats with in imagined Eric Cantona, former French great who played for Man U. It's kinda cool because Cantona plays himself and is somewhat funny. The highlight of the movie is the end when they take part in some hooliganism...but for a good cause.

Oddly enough, I fell asleep for a little bit because I was so tired from playing soccer a few hours earlier. All that damn yelling and cursing (you know who I'm talking about you fucking wankers and buggers).
