This film made me remember why I should always go see Ken Loach films. A hapless postman is just drifting through life, with rather bad consequences. His idol, Manchester United star Eric Cantona, begins appearing to him and giving him pithy self help advice.
Ostensibly it's a film about taking charge of one's own life, but one of the subtexts is the importance of friendship.
