Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Terrence P — 09 Oct 2009
Looking for Eric is an amusing and poignant tale, but that's where its problem lies. It alternates between being a strakly honest social drama and a quirky life-affirming comedy, and because of this duality the character development and fluidity of the plot occasionally suffer.
That said, it's worth watching for some of the hilarious scenes featuring Cantona, and it's a good exhibition of his persona and charisma.
