Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Ina C — 07 Nov 2009
This movie is about a man's life falling apart around him until he meets his football idol whilst in a drug induced state. Eric Cantona coaches him and helps him get back to his feet with the support of his friends and family.
An excellent performance by Steve Evets. There were a few chuckles, a bit of romantic comedy, and also a serious side to the film. Overall it's quite charming and I would recommend it to all football (soccer) fans.
