Review of Look Back in Anger (1959) by Chelsee P — 04 Jan 2008
Unbelievably moving yet stark portrayal of love gone wrong in a bleak, working class England executed by two of the finest actors, both in the prime of their creative lives riffing on an off screen chemistry.
.. script from heaven adapted from a total corker of a play... Burton plays trumpet player in low rent jazz clubs which only serves too heighten interest from discerning audience... if you don't love this film you are either too optimistic or too stupid to appreciate screen acting at its finest.
