Review of Look at Me (2004) by Indu N — 26 Jun 2010
This is an interesting French film which takes a look at a family and their ordinary yet unique problems. It's about a woman who lives with her dad who's a famous writer. His condescending and cynical attitude has affected her to the point that she retains no self-esteem and becomes even more cynical than her father.
She's used by just about everyone just so they can meet her famous father. His ego shatters relationships around him and the woman realizes how similar she is to her father and finds someone to love her for who she is.
This is a well-written and realistic film and it's worth a watch.
