Review of Lonesome Jim (2005) by Priscilla E — 17 Apr 2008
Casey Affleck sleepwalks through an unlikeable turn as a self centred miserable twat. Morose and dull like Garden state without the charm or the soundtrack come to that. Gone Baby Gone, Assassination of Jesse James and The last Kiss are all good examples of what Affleck jnr's capable of with much better material.
This is is just depressingly mediocre.
